In what concerns with the new 2018 Ford Taurus, the entry-level V6 engine is no longer available. The standard engine will start to be the 2-liter EcoBoost that is able to produce 240 of horsepower. The top featured engine should be a less powerful turbocharged V6, that should be capable to produce about 300 of horsepower.
The V6 engines will only be available for taxi cabs and fleet.
