Up until now, one of the most powerful engines that Porsche has ever used in a car was in the 2011 Porsche GT2 RS. At the time, this car used to come with a turbocharged engine that was able to produce 620 of horsepower. It also came with a 6-speed manual transmission and the only option that you had was rear-wheel drive only.

However, time passes and it got to a point where the engine needed to be improved (!). So, the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS will now feature a 3.8-liter boxer 6-cylinder engine that the Turbo S is already using. However, Porsche boosted this same engine and it will be capable of producing up to 700 of horsepower and 553 pounds per feet of torque.

In terms of transmission, you can expect to find a 7-speed double clutch gearbox.
