Something has been reworked. Something ha s been removed. Something has a new power.
That something is called 2019 Jeep Renegade.
The inside as been reworked and has gotten fresh updates, the styling has been influenced positively.
Now, your new engine of choice and specifications is about to be unveiled.
These changes are coming off as exciting and it will mark the midway point in the lifecycle of Jeep’s production of their first small crossover SUV.
It comes off like a box; it is filled with clever design elements, and it has become one of the best-driving vehicles in its class – on road and off.
It has been confirmed that it will be fully revealed on June 6, 2018
Based on the models and other additions, it is confirmed that for the front-wheel drive, the estimated base price is $23,500 for the Latitude and $27,000 for the Limited.
AWD would continue to be a $1,500-$2,000 option on these models. The 2.4-liter engine should again add $1,330 to the Sport and $1,530 to the Latitude.
Design and Changes
One most important that Jeep will want to beat their chest on is to do well to make advanced safety features available on every 2019 Jeep Renegade model.
So, it shouldn’t shock you that the 2019 Sport would otherwise come with power windows and locks, a rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, and pushbutton engine start.
You will have access to more options such as heated front seats and steering wheel, windshield wiper de-icer, power driver’s seat, blind-spot alert, navigations, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
It also had a powerful trailer tow group that would conveniently allow the 2019 Jeep Renegade to tow up to 2,000 pounds.
You will notice that there are small styling changes when you look at the lights.
Jeep also proudly hinted that it will be powertrains for Renegade version for the Europe market.
You should also expect that there will be at least three gasoline engine options.
There will be a 120-horsepower 1.0-liter three-cylinder, and there will be two other versions of a 1.3-liter four-cylinder that makes 150 horsepower or 180.
The 2019 Jeep Renegade will be readily available either with a 184-hp 2.4-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder or 160-hp turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder.
Based on basic assumption, you can expect that at least the 1.3-liter engine will make it to the U.S., considering its similar power output to current numbers
A couple of highlight that you can expect in 2019 Jeep Renegade is likely a new dashboard and central control stack borrowed from the updated 2019 Cherokee.
You can expect this Jeep to come standard with the latest Uconnect 4 interface that has a 7-inch touchscreen for your pleasure and entertainment and it also support for Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto. Great, huh?
The Uconnect will retain the controls for the steering wheels and available heated seats.
What you can also find available will be an upgraded 8.4-inch unit with built-in navigation as optional on all but the Sport.
You notice that Renegade’s rivals have discreet buttons for climate settings and controls. Hopefully, it is expected that the reworked climate knobs in the 2019 Jeep should improve the ease of use.
